Dave Juka was born in New Orleans in 1962. He has lived many places throughout his life including, Baltimore, Seattle, and Long Island, NY where he learned to play the acoustic guitar at the age of 13. In 1978 he moved to Cleveland, OH. Here as a senior in high school he joined his first band called Euphoria. He was also in the Mentor High School Top 25 where he learned to sing and perform. After a brief college experience at Kent State University, he moved back home and started playing in local bands, and still is after 22 years. He has also owned his own screen printing business for 13 years.

Sammy Free has been performing on stage since he was 5 years old. His first gig was playing a Ukulele in front of a 250 seat theatre in Arizona. At the age of 7 he had his first electric 6 string guitar. During the next 10 years of his life he worked hard to develop his musical skills. He is originally from Cleveland, OH. He lived in Florida for a few years during the 80’s but ended up back in Cleveland and eventually with Dave’s Planet.

Dave Vogrin was born and raised in Willoughby Hills were he also just recently bought a house. He started playing drums his sophomore year in high school when his mom bought him his first drum set. After high school, he went on to attend Ohio State University. There he went on to complete his bachelor degree in business administration before ever actually joined a band. He finished college in 1993 and joined his first band, Mischievous in the summer of 1994. He currently works as a Production Manager for a manufacturer in Chesterland.

Tom Fiore is from S. Euclid and now resides in Willowick, OH. He has been playing guitar since he was 8 years old, but not seriously until the age of 16. He took lessons for the first eight years but only because his father was always pressuring him to. His favorite instructors were Tony Martin and Jeff Nagel. He has played with a lot of bands since he was 15, which is how old he was when he played his first gig in the flats. He also plays in an original band from Hinckley called “Hollywood and Vine” and an original band that he does all the writing and vocals for called “Gauge”. He is the second youngest member of the band, second only to Dave Vogrin and loves playing guitar with Daves Planet.
